Ski Dubai is one Dubai's landmarks, and one of Mall of the Emirate's most visited destinations. Our client, MAF, wanted to replicate a lodge house dining experience inside the ski dome that overlooked the ski slope and leveraged the view. The chalet was connected to the zip line experience that took the visitors down to the chalet from the Avalanche cafe at the top of the ski slope, which we designed and built as well for Ski Dubai.

 

The space consists of a ground floor for the main circulation, a dining hall on the first floor and another on the second floor, both accommodating a total of 100 visitors and connected to the kitchen through the dumbwaiter. A panoramic glass elevator sits in the front facade and carries the visitors to the dining areas, providing maximum visibility towards the ski slope during the journey.
