PROGRAMMING
This stage develops the design in sufficient detail for co- ordination to be completed and enables packaged, production information to be prepared which will allow us to construct the project. It should also allow applications for statutory approvals to be completed.
Our team meets with the client to gather data, discuss the project requirements, ask the right questions, and document the project brief. This stage establishes tasks, responsibilities and review procedures that allow the brief to be reexamined in response to new findings, and to help ensure that critical issues are not lost along the way.
The concept design represents the design team's initial response to the project brief.
The 'concept' is the initial design idea, whereas the 'scheme' develops the concept, taking on board more functional and practical considerations. The client's requirements and the delivery plan is reviewed at the start of this stage.
This stage develops the concept design into a dimensionally correct and coordinated design, describing all of the main components of the project and how they fit together. It provides sufficient information for applications for statutory approvals to begin.
Plans, cross sections, elevations, and visualizations may be produced as well as schedules of facilities.
Our team mobilizes on site to start the works, in order to provide the users with spaces that are ready for use. The works usually include the fixing of the
floors and ceilings, distribution of mechanical and electrical services, internal surface finishes, blinds, and furniture procurement and installation if required.
